• Doctor - There is a "Zoom" (online) Doctor for urgent issues in the Pharmacy in Poullaouen

• Dentist - There is an emergency dental service at the hospital in Brest about an hour away
• Hospitals - There are hospitals in Carhaix, Morlaix and Brest

• Train stations - Morlaix for mainline fast trains to Paris. Local trains run from Carhaix
• Airports - The nearest is Brest, about an hour away and the nearest international airport at Nantes is just under 3 hours away.
• Ferry Ports - The nearest is Roscoff (about 40 minutes away)for Brittany Ferries and St. Malo (for Brittany Ferries and Condor Ferries) is less than 2 hours away
• Cycling - There are many quiet country roads around the gite and cycle trails in the local forests at Huelgoat, Berrien and Foret de Freau. Cycles can be stored under cover in the padlocked barn next to the gite.
• Beaches - There are several beaches along the northern coast of Brittany about half an hour north of the gite.
• Local Market - There is a Friday Artisan Market at Quenequen, just up the road. Fresh home made bread, spices, and food vans with local traders. Enjoy a drink at the local bar after browsing the stalls.
• Bars and Restaurants The nearest bar is at Quenequen less than 1km from the gite up the road opposite, and there are many restaurants in Huelgoat, Scrignac, Guerlesquin, Bolozec, Carhaix and Morlaix. All around 20 minutes away at most.
• Fast Food - There is a McDonalds in Carhaix, a Burger King in Morlaix and several automatic pizza cabins, the nearest is in Guerlesquin.
• Nearest Supermarkets and Petrol Stations - Guerlesquin (Super U) and Carhaix, LeClerc, Lidl, Casino and several others.
• ATMs (Cash Machines) - Guerlesquin, Huelgoat, Carhaix, Morlaix

There are many tourist attractions very close to the gite including the Valley of the Saints, Huelgoat Forest and Leisure Lake, and the pretty floral centre of Guerlesquin. The pictures below show lots of places to visit within an hour of the gite. Please ask the hosts for some ideas for interesting places to visit.
