"The Little Dragon House"

in the heart of the Breton countryside

About the Gite

Our gite is completely self contained, with downstairs comprising a lounge area with Smart TV, a table with four chairs, a kitchen with small hob, microwave, a fridge with a freezer section, and all the equipment you need to feel at home. There is a large radiator to ensure you stay cosy all year round.

The upstairs contains a bedroom with double bed, hanging rail and Breton storage chest as well as a shower room with handbasin and toilet. Downstairs has full ceiling height, and upstairs is 6 foot high, so very tall guests might need to lower their heads a little!

We like to welcome our guests with French hospitality, so for every stay we provide a bottle of wine, a baguette, cheese, croissants, coffee, tea, sugar and milk. Please let us know if you have any particular dietary requirements.

The Gite is surrounded by farmers fields in all directions, which change with the seasons and enable amazing views

Parking is completely free in the field behind the main house, just a few steps from the gite and accessed via the long drive 50 yards down from the house and signposted. There is also a parking space for a car next to the barn to enable easy unloading of luggage.

HOW TO BOOK

There are three ways to book the gite. AirBnb and Booking.com use variable pricing during busy periods so its a good idea to try all three options.

  • The gite is surrounded by fields and next to a road. This road is normally very quiet, but during the summer season when there are lots of visitors to the area and festivals and events in the local towns, the road can become busier. All windows in the gite are double glazed for sound reduction, and there are blackout curtains in the bedroom to ensure a peaceful night's sleep.
  • The ceiling of the bedroom is approximately 2m high so taller guests might need to be cautious.

Things to Do

There are many tourist attractions, bars, restaurants and shops within a few kilometres of the gite. Beaches, large towns, cities and ferry ports and airports are all within an hour of the Gite.

Visit the Things to Do page for ideas of things to do while you visit.
